MSc in statistics, PhD in genetics and Senior Scientist at CLC bio. Anne-Mette has a broad research background in bioinformatics and is our expert in statistics and gene expression analysis. As Senior Scientific Officer at CLC bio Anne-Mette is responsible for the development of the CLC Transcriptomics Workbench.
• PhD from the University of Aarhus. Dissertation: Statistical evolutionary DNA sequence analysis: modeling the substitution process when sites are dependent (Supervisor Freddy B. Christiansen). Post Doc at the Dept of Theoretical Statistics, University of Aarhus (Prof. Jens Ledet Jensen).
• Research Associate at the Dept. Of Epidemiology and Public Health, Imperial College School of Medicine, London (Prof. Sylvia Richardson), and further at the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory, Aarhus University Hospital, Skejby (Prof. Torben Ørntoft) working with gene expression analysis.
